Fun with Ancient Warriors!

Santi_test2

So I did these shots as a camera test for my new stories for Wicca Please Coriander series. I want to have an image header with each chapter. FUN!   The stories take place 4,000 years ago when Corey was a young man learning magick. I have 3 stories outlined. We shall see how they turn out! It’s so much fun to write! I can go on and on about the amount of research these tales took. I won’t. It was fun too but kind of frustrating. I mean I set the story pre-history so who knows what really existed. Well that’s not true. Smart people probably have a good idea of what life was like…sort of. Or so they say. I read a lot and then just created my own, slightly-based on reality, world where new characters live and love. Oh and of course they do cool magick stuff. It’s been very expanding imagination-ally speaking 🙂  2 more image after!

Concepts and finishing lines

Been busy. I started this blog to help people keep track of things I'm doing and I can't even keep up. ha ha. I haven't been writing a whole lot just designing and planning like crazy. Well that's not entirely true. I wrote a cool short I think I'm shooting late Spring. It's called Medea in Exile. It seems a LGBT (an LGBT??) artist would get the story better but not necessarily. I might just be being overly protective,...

Still Graphic-ing

Thought you might like to check out a couple of pages for Equinox the graphic novel that's taking FOREVER to finish :) Here we have Scorn praying for vengeance (by the lovely Shanna Beauchamp) and Grace trying not to mourn ( by the also lovely Angie Light)! This project has been so much harder than I thought it would be. BUT phase 1 is almost done and I think the other 3 phases won't take me 2 years to complete:) I'll post some of Demeter and Hades soon!...

You’ve got to pick a pocket….or not.

I saw 6-8 years olds doing Oliver! It was prob one of the cutest things EVER! They don't so much tell the story as sing the songs and..dance? well kind of run around and wave at the audience of parents. It takes about 35 minutes of joy. BUT as I'm sitting there I'm reminded what a great story Oliver Twist is AND how awesome the music from Oliver! is. (Don't you love I feel compelled to add the exclamation point?) So the ole brain started a tickin'. And I came up with a fun musical concept where I could tell the story of Oliver! as a storyteller and use a bit of music from the show. Honestly I don't know...
