Same Old Same Good

Just one of these days I’d like to post something like “nothing really going on just enjoying hiking and living in the now…”  HAHA HA Like that’s EVER going to happen! I updated a friend last night on what I’m working on and he just started laughing. Not a yea good for you laugh more a are you insane laugh or maybe I’m projecting….? It’s so my status quo to be over booked and creating art at a lightning speed bit with these new projects I’m trying to slow down. Craft more. Take moments upon moments. It’s a tad nerve wracking but the work is solid. I will let others decide if it’s good or great or whathaveyou.  I just need to stay proud of what I do. So far so good. It’s odd how difficult that can be.

tribute shows and

I'm in this show tomorrow. It's a tribute to playwright Robert Patrick. You probably know his play Kennedy's Children.  I have the opening monologue. It's 14 minutes long for chrissake! Lordy the things I agree to do :)  HOWEVER it has been fun being an actor and not something I wrote. But when the muses stop by the very least you can do is jot down what they say) (Actually to second parenthetically note something, which s bad grammar but you don't care, I read a cool article about Inspiration being a Hoax....

It's that time of the year! As we reap all the awesomeness we've sown let's plant a few more seeds of hope. Kageno means a place of hope. If you're not in NYC for this year's benefit you may certainly contribute a bit of cash! I'll be running around the event trying to not sound like a used car salesman :) keeping us all on time (you know who you are) :) and trying to raise a bit of $$$ for a great org. Be back in LA soon. ...

SUNDAY art and performance in WestHollywood

I've been a bit remiss about posting my performance schedules, but I'm still everywhere :) Especially this Sunday the 16th I'm co-producing the performers' stage for INSTALL:Weho. A pop-up art installation behind the West Hollywood Library. I personally go on at 3 (I think) but all the performers are amazing (ok 80%) and the art that's taking over 10 U-Haul trucks sound super cool! Swing by in you're in LA or just wish me luck if you're not. the story I'm doing is called High-Falootin Mama Jama. It's about a young boy who reads his first Penthouse! Completely NOT autobiographical! ...
