SUNDAY art and performance in WestHollywood

I've been a bit remiss about posting my performance schedules, but I'm still everywhere :) Especially this Sunday the 16th I'm co-producing the performers' stage for INSTALL:Weho. A pop-up art installation behind the West Hollywood Library. I personally go on at 3 (I think) but all the performers are amazing (ok 80%) and the art that's taking over 10 U-Haul trucks sound super cool! Swing by in you're in LA or just wish me luck if you're not. the story I'm doing is called High-Falootin Mama Jama. It's about a young boy who reads his first Penthouse! April 1st show and I’m not foolin’

My collection of children's stories for GLBT youths and children of GLBT parents is confirmed! Sunday April 1st at 2pm! I'm telling 4 stories: Mary-Anne and Ginger; The Shrew, the Shoe, a King and a Prince; boy-girl-girl-boy; and soon to be world famous, The Sassy Scarf Story! I'm excited to be working with Yolanda Baños who has already told me to slow down like 14 times! It's technically only a workshop but you know me: rehearse rehearse rehearse! The stories just make me giggle and the words leap off my lips. It's weird. HIV-ehicle

I'm telling a story on Dec 2nd at The Gay and Lesbian Center for World AIDS Day. It's the story of when Chris, Yolanda and I were in Weho and they decided to get tested for HIV in a van on the street. They tested negative and we were all happy. Sort of. Ok I was jealous and bitter. :) But it turned out to be an uplifting experience and now I'm gunna share it!...
